PEACE CREATIONS CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF SERVICE

Little did we know, in 1993, that Peace Creations would be providing Domestic Violence, Anger Management and Parenting counseling groups in the variety of locations that need our services.

Not only do we have weekly groups in Alameda County and Contra Costa County, but we also have seeded programs in 12 prisons in Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Ohio, California and Costa Rica. Horizon Communities in Prison has become a valued partner in that effort. (www.horizoncommunities.org)

Parenting became a core program in 2003 when we began working with a program at Santa Rita County Jail in Dublin, CA. We also are an integral part of the curriculum at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin through their Parent Education Program. We now have ongoing groups in Oakland and San Ramon that satisfy Child Abuse Statutes
